The NJC Baseball Team will host their annual open tryouts for high school players who graduated in 06 or will graduate in 07, with the first date being Wednesday,June 14 at Plainsmen Park. The following two dates will also be available for tryouts, Wednesday, July 12 and Wednesday, July 19. Players will be asked to bring baseball gear with them, and NJC will have wood bats for their use. Players will be running timed 60's, hitting live, pitching, fielding, and throwing. Players are asked to bring stats with them if available, and there is no need to RSVP. The tryout will begin at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 14th. Plainsmen Park is located 1 mile North of the Main NJC Campus on Pioneer Road. Take hwy 138 north 1 mile past campus and turn left on Pioneer Rd. The field is 1/4 mile down on the left.
