Aaron Prestwich begins his first season as an assistant coach for the Plainsmen.
Prestwich also works as the Transition Specialist for NJC where he provides academic, transition, and general support services to students. Typically, he works with students who have learning disabilities, individuals who are first generation students, and other students with academic need.
Prestwich played for Coach Lowell Roumph during the 1998 and `99 seasons where he was known for his three-point shooting and played along side Coach Trenkle during the '98 season. Following NJC Prestwich attended the University of Northern Colorado where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
Prestwich lives in Sterling, returning to his native town the first time since graduating from NJC in 1999. His wife Natalie is expecting their first child, a baby boy, the end of November.
