Final Stats

The NJC men's basketball team moved to 14-1 on the season with a 78-71 road victory at Casper College in Wyoming.

NJC's front court dominated the contest as the Plainsmen out-rebounded Casper, 50-30.

LaTravis Turner led the Plainsmen with 21 points and nine rebounds as Head Coach Ed Trenkle's team shot just under 50 percent for the game from the field.

Shane Edwards scored 17 for NJC and pulled down a workman-like, 13 boards. Edwards and Turner also blocked two shots each.

NJC got plenty of back-court scoring from Omar Leary and Mike Dominguez. Each chipped in 11 points, and Leary handed out four assists. Leary made 2-of-3 from the three-point land and sunk three of his four free-throw attempts.
