Plainsmen Down Air Force Prep

The Plainsmen defeated Air Force Prep, 86-68, in the first game of the Husky Classic in Colorado Springs. Shane Edwards and Rashad Austin recorded double-doubles in the blowout. Edwards scored 30 points and pulled down 13 rebounds while Austin kept pace with 23 points and 12 boards. Austin was 10-of-13 from the field while Edwards hit 12 of his 17 shots. The Plainsmen shot 64 percent for the game from the field. NJC hit 20-of-24 free throws. |
