Austin Leads NJC In Big Win Over New Mexico Military

In the third game of the Husky Classic, NJC ran by New Mexico Military, 114-70. The Plainsmen completed an undefeated road trip and moved to 5-0 on the season. Rashad Austin led all scorers in the game with 21 while grabbing nine boards. Omar Leary was 4-of-7 from the three-point line on his way to 20 points. Leary and Tyler Wortham handed out five assists each. NJC hit 10-of-24 three-pointers while shooting 60 percent from the field for the game. Isaac Kuon and Mike Dominguez hit two, three-pointers apiece and Shane Gertner nailed one to go along with Leary's four. LaTravis Turner and Troy Smith dished out four assists each in the win. |
