High School Stats: Kelly attended Mitchell High School and plays the small and power forward positions. Kelly was one of the leaders in 5A for blocked shots in the 2003-2004 season. Grosshans helped lead her team to a close 58-51 playoff victory over Loveland and a "Sweet 16" appearance in the Sharon Wilch region, where they lost to eventual state champion Thunder Ridge.
