NJC sophomore Isil Ozkan signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Adams State in Alamosa, Colorado. Adams State is a NCAA Division II school and is a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

Isil, a native of Istanbul, Turkey will play the point guard position for the Lady Grizzlies. Ozkan averaged 9 points and 3 rebounds this season for the Plainswomen. Isil known for driving to the basket and dishing the ball, averaged 2.8 assists per game. She also averaged 1.6 steals per game.

Ozkan will major in graphic design next year at Adams State.

Isil played in thirty-one games and started one game for the Plainswomen in the 2003-2004 season. Isil averaged 16 minutes per game of playing time. She averaged 7.9 points per game last year.
