Final Stats

NJC bounced back Saturday to beat Dodge City, 76-67, behind Daria Basova's 26 points. She added six rebounds and was 8-of-9 from the free-throw line.

The Plainswomen shot 53 percent from the field for the game and hit 16-of-19 free throws.

Australian freshman Kristen Forbes scored 17 points off the bench for the Plainswomen. Forbes hit two, three-pointers and contributed four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 25 minutes of playing time.

Peetz sophomore Roni Whitman poured in 16 points and added four rebounds and two assists.

Freshman Sarah Conner turned in another solid performance across the board with nine points, nine rebounds and six assists.

The Plainswomen next play Jan. 5-6 at home in the Roy Edwards Memorial Classic.
