Northeastern Junior College women's basketball standout Dasha Basova signed a letter of intent to play at the University of Alaska-Anchorage.

The Moscow, Russia native drew interest from hundreds of schools from around the nation. But in the end, Basova chose Anchorage over the University of California-Irvine.
