The NJC volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 victory at McCook.

NJC used 15 service aces with just one error to improve its record to 31-6.

Tamy Leipelt led the way with four aces while Brittany Palmer and Stacy Manweiler added three aces each. Leipelt and Jenny Andresen served 13 points each.

The Plainswomen took control of the match early, winning 30-13 in Game One.

"We played well in Game One," Head Coach Marci Henry said. "Our blocking was strong."

McCook took advantage of some out-of-character mistakes by NJC in the second game. But the Plainswomen held strong to win, 30-22.

"Game Two we didn't play defense behind the block as well and we didn't have any aces," Henry said.

NJC refocused for Game Three and dominated McCook, 30-15 to seal the match.

"Game three we finished strong with several aces and played great defense behind the block," Henry said.

Addi Radke led the attack for NJC with 12 kills while Thais Hollerbach and Leipelt recorded ten apiece.

Radke and Andresen notched a team-high 11 digs each and Kendra Buckmaster had three solo blocks.
