Radke Signs At Kansas State

Nov. 26, 2007

Sophomore Addi Radke (front row right) of the Northeastern Junior College (NJC) Plainswomen volleyball team has signed to play volleyball at Kansas State University.

Radke, from Corvallis, Ore., led NJC in kills in the 2007 season and was selected to the All-Region IX Team. Radke could also garner some All-American honors when those announcements will be made in December.

"Addi is a trememdous role model and all of the kids look up to her,"said NJC Coach Marci Henry (back row right). "She has really elevated her level of play while at NJC and I'm excited that she gets to play volleyball at the Division I level. I think she is going into a very good program where she will see a lot of playing time."

Addi will join fellow region IX competitor Soriana Pacheco (All American Setter Western Nebraska) at Kansas State. Also present during the signing were Addi's mother, Robin, and NJC Assistant Coach Robby Haley.
